We want to push for the renovation of Masarykovo náměstí, so that it has more greenery, the building façades are repaired and clear rules are set for advertising. We want to involve experts in the debate on public space. I will push for the creation of a town architect position, and for projects we'd like to use architectural competitions, which can create modern and unique spaces.
We introduced a participatory budget, and thanks to it the town has gained an open-air cinema and a disc golf course. It showed everyone that greater involvement of people is the right way. We want to go even further — increase the funding for the participatory budget and allow the local committees of the town's parts to have a say in which projects funds are directed to in their area.

For the last 4 years I've served in the town as a member of the executive board and a councillor. Professionally, I work on laws, drafting and analysing them, which also helps me in my work on the council. I've also gained experience working at the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry for Regional Development and for the Minister for European Affairs. Thanks to that, I know my way around where to turn when the town is dealing with a problem or needs to find money for its projects. It's precisely thanks to this experience that we've managed to secure funding, for example, for a new nursery school and a new children's section of the library.
Because grants like these bring the town big financial opportunities, a grants specialist position was created, whose job is to seek out and secure grants for the town in a targeted way. I want to take an equally targeted approach to the renovation of Masarykovo náměstí that awaits the town in the coming years.
I also consider it important to involve residents in decisions about the town. We've managed to launch a participatory budget, thanks to which projects proposed by the people of Třebechovice themselves come to life every year.
